When we execute orders for you at Bullex, we will charge you a transaction fee. The transaction fee will always be displayed prior to you placing a new order.
- The transaction fee for Limit orders is 0,10%; the 'Maker fee'.
- The transaction fee for Market orders and Stop orders is 0,20%; the 'Taker fee'.
The maker and taker model is a way to differentiate fees between trade orders that provide liquidity ("Maker orders") to our exchange, and orders that take away liquidity ("Taker orders").
If you hold DRP Utility tokens (DRPU), it is possible to get a 50% discount on your transaction fees when you decide to pay your transaction fee with DRPU.
Example: Suppose you put in a Market buy order for 100 ETH. Your transaction costs for this order will be 0,2 ETH. When you hold sufficient DRPU and you have specified that you want to use DRPU to pay for your transaction fees, you will be charged for this trade the equivalent of 0,1 ETH (50% discounted) in DRPU. This 'equivalent' will be calculated based on the going market rate. The exact amount of DRPU you will be charged will also be displayed prior to you placing your order.
In case your DRPU balance is insuffcient to cover your transaction costs, or if you didn't specify that you want to use your DRPU to cover your transaction costs, you will be charged the original 0,2 ETH.
